As the workforce of SOL AZUL is made up of one individual only, the company name reflects my personal skills and idiosyncrasies: SOL, or sun, is the attribute of Apollo, god of prophecy, poetry, and art. It also happens to be my first name and ruling star. Moreover, SOL is understandable in all the language areas where I operate (sol / soleil / solar). So is AZUL, or blue, recognizable in the form of lapis lazuli (which happens to be one of the very first and most precious painter's pigments), or azure in English and French, azur in German, and asur in the Scandinavian languages.
Orange and blue are complementary hues, and their color symbolism indicates both my diverse product offerings (right brain imagery and left brain language services) and individual makeup: The chromatic contrast stands for the fire and water of my Leo / Pieces persona, as well as the diametrically opposed life forces of Yin & Yang. According to the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the year of the Monkey, which is the only sign ruled by both the light and the dark principle.
Read like a palindrome, SOL AZUL becomes LUZ ALOS(a). This roughly translates as LIGHT FISH (fire and water), i.e. the exact same paradoxical co-presence found in SOL AZUL.
As a mirror image, the palindrome forms an almost perfect chiasmus:
in that the fish of my solar sign is the binary opposite of the light of my rising Leo, whose emblem is the sun.
